Qingyuan, a city in north-central Guangdong, has won over a host of international online influencers with its premium agricultural produce, at the "Guangdong Goods, Global Reach" event held on February 7 in the city.
Qingyuan abounds in distinctive local specialties, boasting a total of 23 certifications for China's top-tier geographical specialty products – the highest number in Guangdong Province.
Among these are Qingyuan chicken, one of the three most famous chicken breeds in Guangdong, celebrated for its uniquely tender and crisp texture shaped by its exclusive breed and traditional rearing methods.
Yingde Black Tea, meanwhile, ranks among China's three premium black tea varieties; it is exported to more than 70 countries and regions, and was even served to French President Emmanuel Macron during his China visit in 2023.
