Guangdong Province in southern China is riding a wave of development to embrace the world. The 140th Canton Fair is set to open in Guangzhou on October 15, and the 33rd APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting will be held in Shenzhen this November.
On October 1, Guangdong released its 2026 promotional video—"Winds Rise Over Guangdong". The video presents Guangdong through the theme of “winds,” weaving together the region's profound cultural heritage, surging industrial vitality and its open, globally connected outlook.
