The official promotional film for the 2026 Global Mayors Dialogue • Luoyang, titled Beyond Civilizations, has been officially released.
What has five millennia of history bestowed upon a city? It is a rich cultural lineage woven into its very DNA, a vibrant living heritage embedded in daily life, a solid industrial foundation underpinning its growth, an intelligent manufacturing engine driving future breakthroughs, and an open vision that embraces the world.
From October 9 to 11, the 2026 Global Mayors Dialogue • Luoyang will convene under the theme "Sustaining the Cultural Lineage of Ancient Capitals, Advancing Mutual Learning Among Urban Civilizations." With civilization as a bridge and development as a shared aspiration, the event brings together urban governance wisdom from across the globe to explore pathways for high-quality urban evolution—presenting Luoyang's answer to what lies "Beyond Civilizations."
