Pay and contact in one app! Canton fair buyers applaud

The 135th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) kicked off on April 15th with a surge of attendees from around the globe flocking to the venue. Among the throngs of eager buyers were Maya and Konrad, a couple hailing from Poland, attending the fair for the second time. They wasted no time upon arrival, diving straight into the industrial manufacturing sector in search of their next business ventures.

"We're particularly interested in battery storage and solar panels. There's a significant demand for such products in Poland, and China leads the world in this technology," Konrad remarked to reporters. In recent years, electric vehicles, lithium-ion batteries, and solar panels have witnessed a surge in export, gradually becoming new pillars of high-quality foreign trade development in Guangdong. Maya and Konrad noticed a gap in the Polish market for suitable distributors of Chinese products and saw themselves as bridges to facilitate more Polish consumers in accessing Chinese goods. "We understand both markets. This is a tremendous opportunity."

At the Canton Fair, Konrad and Maya engaged in continuous dialogues with exhibitors to grasp the latest offerings. To streamline communication with Chinese manufacturers, they even adapted to local customs by swiftly creating a WeChat account on-site. "WeChat not only facilitates communication but also serves as a payment platform. It's incredibly convenient!" Maya exclaimed. By linking their overseas cards, Konrad and Maya seamlessly integrated into the smart lifestyle of Guangzhou, experiencing firsthand the progress and vibrancy of the city.
