On June 29, Gaobu Town's 2026 Dragon Boat Championship kicked off. This triennial "doubiao" (competitive dragon boat heats) brought together 18 top local teams, with more than 100 paddlers cutting through the water and racing at full speed in a thrilling display of power and agility.
What made this year's event even more special was the addition of a standard dragon boat exhibition race, featuring five teams from enterprises, social organizations, and clubs. Among them, the Tristar Dragon Boat Team stood out not only for its performance but also for a lineup that included several foreign executives. The team went on to claim first place in the exhibition race.
After the victory, team members expressed their excitement and determination, saying, "We're already getting ready for next year. It's amazing to see this passion from Chinese people. We're happy to be here, and we'll be back to do it again."
