Pomelos, pomelos, and more pomelos! On November 16th, Meizhou Day at the Main Press Center (MPC) of China's 15th National Games transformed the venue into a golden pomelo paradise!
From fresh pomelos to unique pomelo pastries, candies, coffee with pomelo-themed latte art, fragrances, and even dishes made with pomelo, there was something for every fruit lover to enjoy.
Meizhou is known as China's "Hometown of Golden Pomelos." One out of every five pomelos in China comes from this region. The city's entire pomelo industry chain now generates over 8.9 billion yuan annually, helping more than 100,000 local farmers increase their income right at home. This golden fruit, exported to Southeast Asia, Europe, and the U.S., has become one of Meizhou's brightest calling cards, allowing people around the world to discover the city through a single pomelo.
