On May 17, the Dongguan Channel, GDToday's first city channel cooperating with Dongguan City, was officially launched as a new window of communication. "I welcome the launch of GDToday and look forward to staying updated on the latest developments in Dongguan," said Matthew, a scientist at the China Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS).
Xu Jie, a basketball player for the Guangdong Southern Tigers, noted that he would recommend the channel to his friends overseas to encourage more people to become aware of and familiar with Dongguan since it is an authoritative platform for understanding the city.
