As the Guangdong City Football Super League (Yue Chao) enters its second round on May 2 and 3, Foshan will return home to face Yangjiang at Yunxiushan Stadium in Sanshui, a venue that carries far more than football history.
Built in 1959, Yunxiushan Stadium may not be Foshan's newest or largest football venue. But for local fans, it represents the heart of the city's grassroots football culture.
