On October 24, American tennis star Venus Williams visited Gulong Gorge Scenic Area in Qingyuan, Guangdong Province. She tried popular attractions, including the glass skywalk and the canyon go-kart ride, and interacted with costumed characters at the scenic area.
Located in Sankengtan, Qingxin District, Qingyuan, Gulong Gorge holds 12 world records and is hailed as a leading destination for high-altitude sightseeing. It is also a National Sports Tourism Demonstration Base and a rafting course designated by China's General Administration of Sport. In addition, it was the only tourist attraction in Guangdong Province included in the Olympic torch relay for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
