On February 15, the famous Irish band Westlife performed at the 2026 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Chinese New Year Gala. They sang "You Raise Me Up" and "Swear It Again," accompanied by an orchestra, which made the performances feel even more special.
Previously, Westlife told South that they first visited Guangzhou in 2011 and experienced the modern city through its bridges and tall buildings. They even took pictures and shared them with their families.
"We're very honored to be here, performing this TV show for the Chinese New Year," added Kian Egan, a member of Westlife.
