The 140th Canton Fair officially opened in Guangzhou on October 14, a day before it began welcoming buyers on October 15.
Amid the "China Haul" craze sweeping the fair, one must-grab souvenir stands out—a custom fridge magnet made on the spot. Visitors can pick a base, choose from six Canton-Fair-themed templates, select a portrait style and adjust the layout on a touchscreen. The machine generates the personalized design in about 30 seconds, and the finished magnet is ready in roughly one minute.
