The Asia-Pacific Media Forum officially opened on September 5 in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, under the theme "Building a Path to Shared Prosperity for the Asia-Pacific Community: Media Consensus and Action."
Konstantinos Oikonomou, CNN's Senior Vice President, delivered a keynote speech.
"Let us use this moment to build a media environment that's more innovative, more collaborative, and above all, more worthy of the trust of the people we serve," he said.
The event brought together more than 400 media professionals, scholars and government officials from across the region.
