Deng Wenji, Vice Chairman of General Union of Neighborhood Associations of Macao: Technology empowers volunteer services to connect GBA

The 2025 Understanding China Conference is being held in Guangzhou from November 30 to December 2, under the theme "New Plan, New Development, New Choices: Chinese Modernization and New Vision for Global Governance." Approximately 200 delegates from 72 countries and regions are attending the conference.

At the Thematic Forum: China's Bay Area Practice in International Voluntary Service, Deng Wenji, Vice Chairman of the General Union of Neighbourhood Associations of Macao and Chairman of the General Volunteers Association of Macao, shared his insights on how Macao's community culture and volunteer service have integrated and developed in the context of China's modernization, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and its global reach.
