A vast lotus field covering more than 40 mu (about 2.67 hectares) at the Jinglin Agricultural Lotus Root Industry Demonstration Base in Jinwan, Zhuhai, is now in full bloom. Endless green leaves and delicate lotus flowers stretch across the ponds like a scene from a Chinese painting.
More than just a flower-viewing destination, the site is one of Zhuhai's most tranquil countryside retreats—and admission is free. The blooming season continues through June and July, making it the perfect time for a peaceful and romantic lotus getaway.
