IOC Honorary President for Life Bach praises the excellent opening ceremony of 15th National Games

On November 10, International Olympic Committee Honorary President for Life Thomas Bach visited the Nansha Sports Center in Guangzhou to watch Wushu Taolu events at China's 15th National Games. Bach said that this is his third time coming to China to participate in the National Games, and each time the Games have been better organized than the last.

"I saw a great Wushu competition in Nansha today, and all teams performed very well. I went to watch rowing in the morning and Wushu in the afternoon, which gave me a great experience."

When it comes to the viewing experience of the opening ceremony of the 15th National Games, Bach said the opening ceremony is very special. "I think it is the most characteristic of China. The opening ceremony integrates Chinese culture, technology, music, and sports spirit into a whole, and each program has a special meaning behind it."

China has continuously strengthened its cooperation and built up mutual trust with the International Olympic Committee for many years. Bach believes that China is playing an increasingly important role in the Olympic Games, which helps sports play a greater role in uniting the world. After the award ceremony, Nansha presented Bach with a Tanka bamboo hat.
