40,000 Shenzhen-made exoskeletons help users in over 70 countries take life in stride

Shenzhen-based exoskeleton maker Hypershell is bringing AI-powered mobility to users worldwide, from Disney and Walmart employees to outdoor adventurers and people with limited mobility. Turning science fiction into engineering reality, the company is making intelligent wearable robotic gear part of everyday life.

The media event themed "Vibrant China Research Tour" is being held in Guangdong from June 29 to July 4, highlighting the province's achievements in scientific and technological innovation. On July 3, reporters experienced firsthand how these exoskeletons help make walking easier.

By the end of the first quarter of 2026, Hypershell had sold nearly 40,000 exoskeletons across more than 70 countries and regions, reflecting the growing global demand for smart wearable technology developed in Guangdong.
