On May 15, a group of foreign consuls gathered in Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong Province to learn about Huajuhong, a magical local specialty made from fruit peel in Guangdong.
Huajuhong is a unique type of pomelo peel product in Guangdong both medicinal and edible. Rich in naringin and other natural ingredients, it helps clear phlegm, ease coughs and aid digestion. Now, it is processed into tea bags, soup mixes, throat candies, essential oils and more for daily use.
During their visit, foreign consuls were deeply impressed by Huajuhong's health benefits and diverse product forms.
Huajuhong products are exported to over 30 countries and regions including Southeast Asia, the Middle East and beyond, winning wide popularity among health-conscious people such as those focusing on lung health maintenance.
