The 2026 "Go Guangdong, Go Global" Salon-Thailand was held in Foshan on September 18.
Since the beginning of this year, the Foreign Affairs Office of Guangdong Province has been working to build the "Go Guangdong, Go Global" salon series. Focusing on the industrial strengths of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the series aims to create a platform for connectivity and resource sharing.
This Thailand session gathered representatives from government, enterprises, academia and the business community to discuss policy opportunities, make sense of global shifts and share practical experience.
At the event, the Guangzhou Office of the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) outlined Thailand's investment policies; Deloitte China analyzed five emerging trends in Chinese companies' investment in Thailand; and representatives from leading companies, universities and Thai institutions also shared their insights.
The event also featured interactive discussions and a Guangdong-Thailand business matchmaking session, with the aim of opening a new chapter in Guangdong-Thailand cooperation.
Guangdong ranks first among Chinese provinces in trade with Thailand.
