"Guangdong goods" and "APEC 'China Year'" have emerged as buzzwords during China's annual Two Sessions, according to a press conference held by the Guangdong delegation to the fourth session of the 14th National People's Congress on March 11.
Briefing the media on deputies' legislative work, spokesperson Li Xiangyu noted that seven deputies from the delegation jointly submitted 15 legislative motions, while 136 deputies led the submission of 449 policy suggestions covering topics such as the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, AI-driven industries, and coordinated urban-rural development.
As China's largest provincial economy, Guangdong attracted wide media interest during the session. The delegation's open day drew 111 media outlets and 277 journalists from China and abroad, the highest among provincial delegations, earning it the nickname "the delegation that understands the media best."
Topics including Guangdong goods, APEC "China Year," Greater Bay Area development, and manufacturing-services integration have become trending highlights at this year's Two Sessions.
