Chinese Ambassador to Samoa Fei Mingxing was moved to tears during a special screening of the critically acclaimed Chinese film "Dear You" in Samoa on August 4.
The Teochew-dialect film was brought to Samoa by a Guangdong cultural delegation as part of its trip to Samoa. The screening was part of the 2026 Charming China (Guangdong): Lingnan Culture Travels to the South Pacific event in Samoa, one of Guangdong's major international communication events in 2026 that focused on promoting people-to-people exchanges.
