At the Asia-Pacific Media Forum held in Shenzhen on September 5, 2026, international delegates toured the Sci-Tech Innovation Achievements Exhibition, where Kaihong's smart restaurant scene stole the show.
Robots from different vendors–CHANJECT for ice-cream making and JAKA for delivery–worked seamlessly under M-Robots OS, completing a full workflow from ordering to production to delivery.
Among the amazed visitors was Arif, a media delegate from Pakistan, who was visiting Shenzhen and Guangzhou for the first time. "I've never seen a robot making ice cream," he said. "In Pakistan, I've seen robots, but they are just random robots doing a bit of things. Here in China, robots are making coffees, and it's very astonishing for me that robots can do human work."
Arif was equally impressed by the city's broader technological landscape. "I have seen many electric vehicles and driverless taxis here. That was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity," he said. "It was an amazing experience here. I am very satisfied with the development of China and how China is making steps forward in air technology."
M-Robots OS, developed by Kaihong, enables robots of multiple brands and form factors to communicate and collaborate in real time—a capability described as turning them into "super devices."
The system offers a reusable solution for enhancing intelligence and efficiency in complex service scenarios. For Arif, his first glimpse of Shenzhen's robotics ecosystem was nothing short of eye-opening, reflecting a broader trend of Chinese innovation reaching into every corner of daily life.
