As the 140th Canton Fair opened in Guangzhou on October 14, a small but practical guide has been catching the attention of international buyers. The "2026 Guangdong Facts" brochure, produced by IP Guangdong, has been placed in exhibition halls, airports, metro stations, commercial districts, duty-free shops, hotels, and other locations where international visitors gather.
The brochure offers a comprehensive overview of Guangdong, with a focus on the province's investment environment and business opportunities. It also provides practical information on daily life, culture and travel, aiming to help international buyers quickly get to know Guangdong.

A Yemeni buyer said the brochure is great because it already includes all the places visitors should visit and the apps they need to use.
"Too many people here are coming to China for the first time, and they don't know how to use WeChat or Alipay, and also Taobao," the buyer said. "This one is really good."

He said the brochure helped him get around the city. "I didn't know how to get around. I was just riding the bus whenever I could, but now I know I can use other transport."
The buyer added that he would share the brochure with friends who plan to travel to China. "I'll definitely give this to my guys who will travel here. I'll give them the QR code for the online version. Then they'll know how to travel around Guangdong."
