The Asia-Pacific Media Forum officially opened on September 5 in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, under the theme "Building a Path to Shared Prosperity for the Asia-Pacific Community: Media Consensus and Action."
Aminath Namza, chairperson of the Public Service Media (PSM) of the Maldives, highlighted that China has stories the world can learn from, including the eradication of absolute poverty and green progress. She appealed to the media to take responsibility for disseminating these stories and experiences.
"Learn from one another, and learning should never flow in one direction," she emphasized.
The event brought together more than 400 media professionals, scholars and government officials from across the region.
