Against the backdrop of the 15th National Games, the Guangzhou Opera House will launch an "art marathon." The first event of the marathon is an art corridor created by the opera house in its inclined column space, inviting you to appreciate the beauty of art on June 21, 2025.
After the event, a series of wonderful performances will take place at the opera house, including three dance dramas: "Awakening Lion," showcasing Lingnan lion dance culture; "Odes to Heroes," presenting Chinese Yingge dance; and "The Peacock," created by the renowned dancer Yang Liping. The finale of the 2025 Guangzhou Art Season will be an Italian musical, "The Divine Comedy." In the following three consecutive weekends, traditional music interactive activities will also be hosted along the art ring route centered on the opera house.
