On September 10, the opening day of the 2025 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), Guangdong Province organized a promotion event focusing on new opportunities in service trade within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA).
Li Xiaodong, Deputy Secretary-General of the Zhuhai Municipal People's Government, announced that the 4th GBA Fair for Trade in Services will be held in Zhuhai, Guangdong, from October 31 to November 2.
As the only large-scale comprehensive exhibition themed around service trade in the GBA, the fair will feature a main venue in Zhuhai and sub-venues in Hong Kong and Macao.
It will focus on professional sectors such as cross-border legal services, certified public accounting, intellectual property rights, and traditional Chinese medicine, creating a valuable platform for cross-border cooperation that integrates exhibitions, business matchmaking, and competitions.
Previous editions of the fair have facilitated over RMB 6 billion in overseas procurement intentions. In 2024, the event attracted more than 100 international buyers, with intended transaction volumes reaching RMB 4 billion.
Yuan Hangzhi, Deputy General Manager of Guangdong Electronic Port Management Co., Ltd., showcased a cross-border e-commerce global warehousing resource information platform on-site.
"Our platform integrates 779 overseas warehouse resources across 12 countries, offering precise warehousing matching, online customs declarations, and one-stop supply chain services for foreign trade enterprises, effectively addressing challenges such as difficult warehouse sourcing and high costs," he explained.
The National Base for International Cultural Trade (Guangzhou) unveiled its "Cultural Export 2.0 Initiative," aiming to collaborate with global streaming platforms to produce 100 multilingual Guangdong-origin intellectual properties (IPs).
Chen Zewen, Director of the National Base for International Cultural Trade (Guangzhou), revealed that the base has connected with enterprises from 136 countries and regions, achieving over RMB 60 billion in trade volume and establishing an ecosystem covering the entire cultural and tourism industry chain.
"In December this year, Guangzhou will also host the 8th Cultural Industry Trade Fair, featuring special exhibition zones centered on global debut products, as well as international trade, investment, and cultural tourism," he said.
