During the Dragon Boat Festival, thrilling dragon boat races were held along the Jiuzhou River in Anpu, Lianjiang, Zhanjiang. Rik from Switzerland came to watch the races together with his parents, who traveled all the way from Switzerland to China. Rik's wife is a native of Xuwen, and the whole family gathered just in time for this grand dragon boat event.

Rik said it was his first time watching a dragon boat race. He couldn't wait to try to row a dragon boat himself, and said he would invite more foreign friends to visit Anpu next year. After the races, the whole family sampled local delicacies from Anpu.
Combining the exciting races with genuine local flavors, the Dragon Boat festival customs serve as a bridge for cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries, showcasing the unique cultural charm of Zhanjiang.
