Co-hosted by authorities from Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, the event brought together 180 participants, including representatives from universities, incubators, and young entrepreneurs. The program aims to connect resources and help young people integrate into the economic development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The launch included a welcome ceremony for new members of the Alliance of Hong Kong Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurial Bases.
The alliance added eight new members this year, expanding its network to 70 organizations. Four incubators signed agreements to host eight youth-led projects across AI, biopharma, and creative industries.
A three-day study tour, currently under way, is visiting Zhuhai, Zhongshan, and Guangzhou. Further events scheduled for 2025 are expected to engage more than 20,000 young people from Hong Kong and Macao.
