Dongguan's new AI Innovation Training Base established in Binhaiwan Bay Area

On November 14, the digital talent training initiative focused on artificial intelligence (AI) was launched in the Binhaiwan Bay Area, part of Dongguan's 2025 pilot program for the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises. The event attracted numerous representatives from the smart device industry throughout the city.

During the event, the AI Innovation and Application Training Base was officially inaugurated. This facility aims to create an open innovation service platform that leverages the city's strong manufacturing foundation. The goal is to cultivate practical talent who are technically skilled, familiar with industry processes, and capable of driving actionable results, providing robust support for the digital transformation of Dongguan enterprises.

Binhaiwan Bay is designated as a National AI Application Pilot Base in the consumer mobile terminal sector. The construction of this base is rapidly progressing, establishing foundational capacities in computing power, data, models, application toolchains, and security. The base will develop five centers focused on chip application development, chip ecosystem compatibility, operating system adaptation, industrial intelligence innovation, and pilot validation. This will create a comprehensive service system that spans from technology research to industrial application.
