A Hengqin-Macao Cross-Border Business Cooperation Exchange was held on July 15 in the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin. The event brought together nearly 100 enterprises from Hengqin and Macao, along with representatives from multiple business associations.
Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on strengthening cross-border cooperation, fostering a trustworthy business environment, and promoting industrial development.

The event introduced the Cooperation Zone's facilitation measures, including business registration, industrial support policies, and the joint development of a business integrity system. Through practical guidance, case studies, and one-on-one consultations, participating enterprises received tailored policy advice.
Macao's Consumer Council stated that it will continue to strengthen cooperation with Hengqin on consumer rights and enhance the mutual recognition mechanism for "Certified Shops" in both regions. The council also supports businesses recognized as "Macao Certified Shops" in establishing operations in Hengqin and participating in the "Hengqin Certified Shops" program, providing consumers with more reliable services.
During the event, the Consumer Association of the Cooperation Zone signed framework agreements on consumer rights protection with the Guangdong offices of the General Union of Neighborhood Associations of Macao and the Women's General Association of Macao. The agreements establish a long-term cooperation mechanism focused on coordinated consumer rights protection, public legal education, and the early prevention of consumer disputes.
