Chimelong Group and AGIBOT will jointly create the world's first immersive theme park powered by embodied intelligence in the Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, according to a strategic cooperation agreement signed between the two sides in Hengqin on August 23.
The collaboration is hailed as a landmark event in the cross-industry integration of China's cultural tourism and embodied intelligence. It will see the birth of the world's first large-scale embodied intelligence theme park featuring the richest scenarios and most advanced technology.
Previously, overseas parks mostly deployed robots only in isolated trials, making regular commercial operation difficult. There has been no such park globally featuring large-scale, multi-scenario, immersive embodied intelligence experiences. Chimelong is a Chinese tourism brand, whose resort has set 17 Guinness World Records and won multiple international awards. AGIBOT is among the leading embodied intelligence companies globally, with industry-leading capabilities in robot production and large-scale delivery.
In the future, the two partners will leverage Chimelong's IP heritage and real-world scenarios, combined with AGIBOT's technological capabilities, to integrate intelligent interaction into all visitor touchpoints, including science education, park parades and hotel services, delivering an immersive new experience of embodied intelligence tourism. They will also jointly establish an industry laboratory for embodied intelligence in cultural tourism, driving technological breakthroughs and scenario validation, and setting a demonstration model for large-scale application of humanoid robots in the tourism sector.
