The inaugural Yinghai Fisheries Expo, hosted by the Yinghai Aquatic Products Trading Center, kicked off in Dali Town, Nanhai District, Foshan on September 12. The three-day event features a range of activities, including seafood exhibitions, expert seminars, and business matchmaking sessions.

The expo gathered over 100 premium seafood vendors and more than 30 professional exhibitors, showcasing the latest advancements across the entire industry chain—from aquaculture and processing equipment to trade systems and innovative seafood cuisine.
The expo integrated resources from the entire seafood supply chain, including processing, catering, and cold chain logistics. On-site food vendors serve limited-time signature dishes identical to those in their restaurants, giving visitors a chance to enjoy a wide variety of fresh, renowned seafood all in one place.
Alongside professional exhibitions and business activities, the "Yinghai Seafood Food Carnival" runs each evening from September 12 to 14. The carnival features renowned restaurants and specialty food stalls, offering a sensory feast of fresh, high-quality seafood—from barbecues and sashimi to steamed, fried, and baked dishes—set against a backdrop of dazzling lights, live music, and cultural performances. Visitors can fully immerse themselves in the lively, festive atmosphere.
The Yinghai Aquatic Products Trading Center officially began full operations on June 14. Strategically located at the border of Guangzhou and Foshan, the center spans 200 mu (approximately 133,333 square meters), with a planned construction area of 220,000 square meters. To date, 160,000 square meters have been completed, accommodating over 1,000 shops.
As the largest seafood trading hub in South China, the Yinghai Aquatic Products Trading Center places a strong emphasis on industry trends and the sector's green, efficient development.
