On March 8, 2025, the "Top 10 Outstanding Hong Kong Students in the GBA 2024 - 2025" in Nansha District, Guangzhou City, was held at the GBA International Communication Center (GICC) in Guangzhou. A large number of Hong Kong students gathered to showcase their remarkable talents and great potential in international communication, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
The awards in this Nansha competition are divided into the International Communication Award and the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Award. Candidates for the International Communication individual award were required to shoot two videos.
One was to introduce the local customs and development opportunities of Nansha in both Chinese and English, and the other was to promote the advantages of their universities to expats. The students captured the charm and development opportunities of Nansha from unique perspectives and presented the charm of universities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area through the language of the camera. The videos received a warm response on international communication platforms, with nearly 100,000 clicks.
Candidates for the Innovation and Entrepreneurship individual award presented their business plans on topics such as the low-altitude economy, intangible cultural heritage, smart cities, and information technology. With diverse perspectives and innovative thinking, they injected vitality into each topic, demonstrating the unlimited potential and vibrant energy of innovation and entrepreneurship in the new era.
