The 22nd China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF) is being held from May 21 to 25 in Shenzhen, Guangdong's tech hub, presenting a feast of cultural experiences, creative innovation, and industry exchanges across the cultural industry chain.

Beyond the fair, host city Shenzhen is itself a pioneer in cultural innovation. The city is home to Shenzhen Science & Technology Museum, the world's first large-scale science museum themed on "digital civilization". The museum was also named one of the seven "World's Most Beautiful" museums on the 2026 Prix Versailles list, announced at UNESCO in early May 2026.

At the museum, visitors can experience 950 innovative interactive exhibits, 80% of them immersive. Highlights include a 30-meter dome quantum theater, a black hole gravitational wave simulator, AI-powered pharmaceutical molecular design, vintage communication devices displayed alongside modern 5G technology, and the building's distinctive spaceship-like architecture and cosmic visual effects.
