In 2025, Shunde's GDP reached 446.9 billion yuan, with the total industrial output of large-scale enterprises surpassing one trillion yuan. Every leap in Shunde's development has been driven by the strong support of Shunde natives worldwide, who are regarded as "business partners" in the district's growth.

During the conference, a new cohort of the "Shunde Honorary Virtuous Citizens Tribute List" was unveiled, honoring 16 individuals from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and overseas for their outstanding contributions to Shunde's development.

For the first time, recipients included figures from academia, music, and martial arts, reflecting Shunde's commitment to respecting labor, knowledge, talent, and innovation.
