Shenzhen Nanshan People's Hospital has opened its new Radiotherapy Center, featuring cutting-edge technology and a multidisciplinary expert team. The 3,500㎡ facility, equipped with two Varian linear accelerators and a Philips Big Bore CT simulator, enables sub-millimeter precision in tumor targeting.
Led by 14 specialists, including two PhDs, the center addresses regional gaps in advanced radiotherapy, offering local patients world-class care without the need for long-distance travel. Strict quality control and patient-centric workflows aim to minimize side effects and enhance post-treatment quality of life.
Future plans include expanding into a Greater Bay Area radiotherapy innovation hub. This launch reinforces Nanshan Hospital's leadership in integrated cancer care.
