Recently, the Guangzhou Baiyun Mountain Scenic Area took many measures to upgrade and renovate the Huangpodong Reservoir and the surrounding areas. As a part of this effort, they introduced a 520-meter waterside walkway open to visitors. These enhancements aim to transform the area into a must-visit destination that offers a variety of attractions and experiences for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.

The Huangpodong Reservoir walkway
With a width of 3.5 meters and a length of 520 meters, the Huangpodong Reservoir walkway is a waterside viewing path that invites visitors to get up close and personal with its serene waters. Here, visitors can enjoy stunning views of mountains, observe birds, and immerse themselves in the surrounding forests. Recent abundant rainfall has enhanced the reservoir's natural beauty, making it an irresistible destination for nature enthusiasts.

Baiyun Zip Line
Experience the thrill of China's longest zip line, the Baiyun Zip Line, stretching 1,500 meters across two sections that link Moxing Ridge and Huangpodong Reservoir. Feel the adrenaline rush as you soar through the air, taking in a spectacular aerial view of the reservoir below. This exhilarating adventure is a must for thrill-seekers!

Beautiful Grassy Slope
Nestled at Huangpodong Reservoir, an expansive grassy slope offers a tranquil escape reminiscent of the scenic Altay in Xinjiang. Here, visitors can unwind under the open sky or freely roam across the lush greenery. Gazing upward, guests can also glimpse zipline riders soaring through the air.

The Lush Trees
Over 9,200 bamboos and 1,000 bald cypress trees were planted along the shores of Huangpodong Reservoir earlier this year, transforming the reservoir into a lush oasis of greenery. Picture-perfect bald cypress trees, with their intertwining branches showcasing shades of gold, crimson, and emerald green, create a mesmerizing landscape that promises unforgettable experiences and stunning photo opportunities for visitors.
Moxing Ridge Scenic Escalator
As the highest peak of Baiyun Mountain in Guangzhou, Moxing Ridge opened its beautiful scenic escalator allowing visitors to ascend effortlessly to the summit. The total length of the escalator is 60 meters, and there is also a 150-meter-long plank walkway, which can be said to be an excellent spot for overlooking Baiyun Mountain and Guangzhou. Especially at dusk, visitors can enjoy the stunning spectacle of the sunset.
