Residents in Guangdong, keep your umbrellas handy! A round of heavy rain and thunderstorms will sweep across Guangdong starting Wednesday night, followed by a cold front on March 15, bringing significant weather changes throughout the week.

From the night of March 12 to March 13, thunderstorms and localized heavy rain will affect Shaoguan, Qingyuan, and Zhaoqing, with localized strong winds up to Level 8. Other cities will see cloudy skies with scattered showers and light fog in the morning and evening. The lowest temperatures will range from 17 to 20 °C in northern Guangdong and 21 to 23 °C elsewhere.
From March 14 to 15, the Pearl River Delta and northern Guangdong will see heavy to torrential rain with isolated extreme downpours. Western Guangdong will experience showers, while other regions expect moderate to heavy rain. Temperatures will drop to 12 to 14 °C in northern Guangdong, 12 to 15 °C in eastern Guangdong, and 15 to 19 °C in other areas.
