The Traditional Chinese Medicine Science and Technology Industrial Park of Cooperation between Guangdong and Macao (TCM Industrial Park) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Brazilian Federal Council of Pharmacy (CFF) on May 21, marking a major step in advancing the entry of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) into Portuguese-speaking markets.

The partnership will focus on three core areas: regulatory alignment, industrial collaboration, and market access compliance.
Walter da Silva Jorge João, President of the CFF, expressed strong expectations for the cooperation. "TCM is a precious asset for global traditional medicine. This bilateral partnership will effectively promote the regulated development of TCM in Brazil and provide Brazilian citizens with more diversified health solutions," he said.
Under the MOU, the two sides will work together on regulatory standards, product registration, market access, and talent development.
To date, the Industrial Park has helped 26 products obtain overseas registration or filing in countries including Mozambique and Brazil. Of these, 12 products have already secured market access approval in Brazil.
