China Southern Airlines will expand its international network this winter season by launching two new direct routes connecting Guangzhou with Madrid and Darwin. These new services aim to strengthen China's trade and cultural ties with Europe and Oceania.

The Guangzhou–Madrid route will begin on December 2, operating three times a week (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays) using a Boeing 787 aircraft. Flight CZ377 departs from Guangzhou at 00:50 and arrives in Madrid at 08:30 local time. The return flight, CZ378, leaves Madrid at 10:30 and lands in Guangzhou the following day at 06:40.

The Guangzhou–Darwin route will start on December 3, also with three weekly flights (Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays) operated by a Boeing 737. Flight CZ8361 departs from Guangzhou at 21:50 and arrives in Darwin at 05:55 the next day. The return leg, CZ8362, leaves Darwin at 07:30 and arrives in Guangzhou at 12:25.
