China Southern Airlines' C919 has arrived in Dubai ahead of its first appearance in the Middle East, where it will take part in the 2025 Dubai Airshow from November 17 to 21.

The aircraft touched down at Al Maktoum International Airport at 1:15 local time on November 14 (05:15 Beijing time), marking a significant overseas appearance for China's domestically developed passenger jet.

The Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC), the state-owned manufacturer of the C919, will display three of its aircraft at the event as it intensifies efforts to promote Chinese-built commercial jets in global markets. This year's airshow features more than 1,500 exhibitors and is expected to attract over 148,000 attendees.

Two years after the C919 began commercial service, the aircraft has accumulated more than two million passenger trips, according to COMAC. The domestically built jet has since transitioned into routine operation on major domestic routes, supported by a fleet of 18 delivered aircraft shared among Air China, China Eastern Airlines, and China Southern Airlines.
