China's first automated humanoid robot line, with 10,000-unit annual capacity, starts production in Guangdong

China's first automated humanoid robot assembly line, with an annual capacity of 10,000 units, officially began operations on March 29 in Foshan, Guangdong, marking a major step forward in large-scale humanoid robot manufacturing.

The line can produce over 10,000 units annually, with one humanoid robot coming off the line every 30 minutes to meet high-volume demand. All 24 precision assembly processes are fully digitalized, increasing efficiency by more than 50% compared to traditional lines. In addition, 77 inspection and testing procedures ensure consistent and reliable product performance.

The line also offers highly flexible assembly capabilities, with adjustable workstations and line length, and supports mixed-line production of multiple models.

This production line was jointly developed by Guangdong Dongfang Precision Science & Technology Co., Ltd. and Leju (Shenzhen) Robotics Co., Ltd.
