A series of pop-up stores featuring a cartoon chicken mascot named "Greater Bay Chicken" has opened across Guangzhou, adding a festive commercial touch to the city's Spring Festival celebrations.

The temporary outlets are located at more than a dozen popular tourist and shopping destinations. They sell themed merchandise and souvenirs as part of a wider cultural and tourism promotion.
Key locations include multiple stalls within the Baiyun Mountain scenic area, the traditional Yuexiu and Tianhe flower markets, Beijing Road shopping street, and the Grandview Mall in the Tianhe district. Pop-ups have also been set up at major parks, such as Yuexiu Park and Luhu Park, as well as at cultural sites, including Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall and the Guangdong Museum of Art.

The pop-ups are expected to operate throughout the Chinese New Year holiday period.
