Guangdong will continue to experience sunny and dry weather from December 20th to 22nd, with morning and evening temperatures remaining cold and requiring proper warmth, according to the Guangdong Provincial Meteorological Bureau.
The lowest temperatures in northern Guangdong's more northerly counties are expected to range from 2°C to 5°C (dropping to -3°C to 1°C in high-altitude mountainous areas), and some mountainous counties may experience frost or freezing conditions, necessitating cold prevention measures.
The Guangdong Provincial Meteorological Observatory predicts that a new cold front will arrive on the Winter Solstice (December 21st). Guangdong will continue to be influenced by dry northerly air currents, maintaining sunny and dry weather with slight fluctuations in temperature. The specific forecasts are as follows:
Due to the influence of the cold front, winds over the eastern Guangdong sea area will reach 7-8 force (Beaufort scale) on the 20th, gradually weakening to 6 force. From the 21st to the 22nd, winds over the eastern Guangdong sea area will intensify again to 6-7 force, with gusts reaching 8 force.
