On November 3, the second gold medal of the diving competition at the 15th National Games was decided. Olympic champions Xie Siyi and Chen Aisen led the Guangdong diving team as they aimed for gold on the men's team event.

If the women's team title could be described as a "dominant victory," then the men's team event was truly "neck and neck." Top divers from the Hubei diving team, including Wang Zongyuan, Zheng Jiuyuan, and Cheng Zilong, posed strong challenges, while several unexpected athletes delivered standout performances, keeping the scores close throughout the competition.

In the end, the Guangdong diving team once again showcased the formidable overall strength of a defending champion. After fierce contests across the synchronized 3-meter springboard, 10-meter platform, 3-meter springboard, and synchronized 10-meter platform events, they maintained their lead to the very end and claimed the championship title.
This victory marks the Guangdong diving team's remarkable eighth consecutive gold medal in men's team diving at the National Games.

After the event, fellow Olympic champion Quan Hongchan assisted her senior teammate Xie Siyi by holding and soothing his baby while he posed for photos with the medal. The heartwarming moment came when Xie gently placed his gold medal in his child's arms.
