A stretch of riverside in Zhongshan's Nanlang subdistrict has drawn visitors this week, as the silk floss trees have entered full bloom along the Daxi River. The pink flowers create a striking contrast with the waterway and greenways, offering a remarkable sight during the mild winter.

Nanlang has maintained walking paths and cycling tracks along the river, allowing residents to stroll beneath the flowering canopy. The site has become a popular destination for morning exercises and weekend visits.
Officials indicate that further landscaping and ecological projects are planned as part of the provincial development initiative.
