Guangdong diver Wang Weiying, a native of Zhanjiang City, clinched the gold medal in the women's all-around diving event at China's 15th National Games on November 4, scoring 700.20 points after ten rounds of competition.

The event consisted of five rounds on the 10-meter platform and five on the 3-meter springboard, with the combined total determining the champion. Fifteen athletes from twelve teams competed, including Wang and her teammate Luo Chunxiao from Guangdong, Xu Yijin from Beijing, and Zhang Minjie from Shanghai.

As a leading contender for the title, Wang had previously won silver in the same event at the 14th National Games four years ago. Speaking after her victory, she said she was in great form and quickly found her rhythm. "Competing in Guangdong gave me extra motivation—the audience's enthusiasm really lifted me," she said.

So far, Team Guangdong has claimed three gold medals in diving at the 15th National Games in the men's team, women's team, and now women's individual all-around events.
On November 2, Wang and Olympic champion Quan Hongchan paired up for the first time in the women's team event, securing gold for Guangdong. The duo will reunite on November 6 for the women's synchronized 10m platform final.
