China Southern and Ethiopian Airlines forge partnership to boost China-Africa connectivity

China Southern Airlines and Ethiopian Airlines have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening air connectivity between China and Africa.

The agreement seeks to enhance collaboration in code-sharing, interline services, cargo logistics, and third-party partnerships. It comes amid rising travel demand between China and Africa, highlighting both airlines' commitment to developing a more integrated and competitive air transport network.

Mesfin Tasew, CEO of Ethiopian Airlines Group, described the partnership as a significant step in advancing the airline's vision of becoming Africa's leading aviation hub. "Through this cooperation, we will drive greater network integration and provide travelers with more efficient and personalized services between China and Africa."
