Zhujiang New Town turns into a sea of lights after dark

As night falls, Guangzhou's Zhujiang New Town lights up. The central business district, a dense cluster of glass-and-steel towers along the north bank of the Pearl River, becomes a grid of illuminated facades. 

Office towers, the Guangzhou Opera House and the elevated walkways threading between them form a continuous wash of light reflected in the waters below.

The view from the riverbank is among the most photoworthy urban nightscapes in China.
