The 2026 Guangdong Quality Products Exhibition will open on July 24 in Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong Province.

A press event for the Guangdong Quality Products Exhibition is held on July 9.
This year's edition will expand access to Guangdong's premium goods for foreign buyers. Nearly 1,000 foreign buyers are expected to attend, a sharp increase from fewer than 300 at the inaugural edition in 2025.

As a provincial benchmark event, the exhibition showcases Guangdong's market-proven leading brands and specialty products. This year's edition features a comprehensive product upgrade, with Chinese original products, best-selling exports, creative items related to intangible cultural heritage, and regional specialty foods all on display.
Kelly Jia, Executive President and Secretary-General of the Guangdong General Chamber of Commerce and head of the exhibition's organizing committee, noted that the 2025 edition was mainly designed to meet domestic procurement demand, but many exhibitors received inquiries from overseas markets and urged the committee to create international sourcing channels for this year's event.
To support this expanded international engagement, the committee has mobilized consulates in Guangzhou and collaborated with Guangdong business associations in more than 60 countries and regions. During the exhibition, a trade matchmaking conference targeting Asia, Africa, and Europe will also be held, with three targeted sessions of 150 participants each and 100 overseas buyers connected with Guangdong exhibitors in each session.

The Guangdong Quality Products Exhibition serves as a large-scale sourcing platform that connects buyers directly with original manufacturers, cutting out intermediaries to maximize benefits for both producers and consumers.
This year's edition will bring together 1,500 exhibiting manufacturers across seven specialized categories: home appliances, consumer electronics, apparel and beauty products, toys and cultural products, food and ingredients, home textiles and furnishings, and a pavilion for products from other Chinese provinces, offering a more refined category structure than last year.
Beyond the exhibition itself, the event will engage participants through performances, sales, competitions, forums, and product selection and matchmaking activities.

"Data from recent years shows that Guangdong's foreign trade with emerging markets in Asia, Africa, and Europe has continued to grow," Jia said.
By substantially broadening access for foreign buyers, the Guangdong Quality Products Exhibition aims to offer a one-stop showcase that reduces the time and labor costs of searching for premium products across different cities.

"Buyers can find Guangdong manufacturers, time-honored brands, and emerging labels at the fair. It's also an opportunity for global buyers to build channels into the South China market," Jia added.
The exhibition will run through July 26 at the Canton Fair Complex in Guangzhou and is open to the public, with visitor registration required. For more highlights of the event, check out our previous report:
