Young football enthusiasts gathered at Puzhou Square in Guangzhou's Nansha District for a youth training hosted by the Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) Academy Greater Bay Area (GBA) on July 11.
The event featured PSG legend and PSG Academy GBA Technical Director Bruno N'Gotty, who joined UEFA-certified coaches in leading training sessions for local players.

The atmosphere was lively as participants took part in age-grouped drills, interactive games, and on-field coaching sessions. N'Gotty also met with young players and their families, sharing insights from his football experience and encouraging the aspiring athletes.
The free program welcomed boys aged 10 to 17 and girls aged 13 to 15. Participants were categorized into four age groups—U10–U11, U12–U13, U14–U15, and U16–U17—to receive targeted training from professional youth coaches, while many parents watched from the sidelines.

Among the participants was 12-year-old goalkeeper Xia Jiahao from the Affiliated School of Guangzhou Foreign Language School. He immersed himself in the training from the very beginning and remained enthusiastic throughout the session.
Reflecting on the experience, Xia praised both the welcoming atmosphere and the quality of the coaching. "My teammates are very enthusiastic, and the coaches explain everything in a professional and easy-to-understand way. Overall, the experience has been excellent."
When asked about his favorite footballer, Xia named Neymar. "His dribbling and feints are as fluid and effortless as dancing, completely different from the more structured style of traditional European football."
Xia added that he looks forward to continuing the upcoming training sessions to improve his goalkeeping skills further.
